SECRET RECIPES FROM STAR CHEFS REVEALED FOR THE FIRST TIME A Gift from the Stars Cookbook Launches Summer Campaign to Raise Money to Fight Hunger for Daily Bread Food Bank TORONTO, June 12, 2007- Chef Daniel Racine, the Founder and Publisher of A GIFT TO THE STARS COOKBOOK, announces the launch of his cookbook and summer fund raising campaign taking place at Lobby Lounge and Restaurant June 20th, 192 Boor St W, Toronto at 7pm. This is a call to action for all food enthusiasts to do their part in fighting poverty and hunger. Short commemorative speeches and a complimentary champagne toast will be made by Daniel Racine, and other high profile guests, supporting this initiative. Copies of the cookbook will be on hand and a small donation for the Daily Bread Food Bank is encouraged but not mandatory. Top participating restaurants will be sampling appetizers for all to enjoy. This invitation only event is open to press, industry supporters, sponsors, donors and friends. This initiative intends to sell 100,000 books raising $500,000 for the Daily Bread Food Bank. It is endorsed by the Toronto Blue Jays and The Canadian Culinary Federation. A letter of congratulations was received from Mayor David Miller. The premiere issue is set to feature secret recipes from nine celebrity chefs and seventy one top Toronto and GTA establishments.
